Hello Fellow Readers, Today I thought I would provide you with another book review. As you can see from the blog title, the book is called The Right Path, which in a way connotes the story, if that makes sense. I’m sure if you read the book, you would understand more of what I’m saying.
Main characters – Morgan James
Other characters – Liz, Alex, Ioana, Dorian,Andrew
Storyline – Morgan flies over to Greece to visit her friends Liz and Alex for a while, staying at their villa. When she arrives, she is caught up in amongst a criminal act, which she cannot forget about. As if things couldn’t get any worse, the following day whilst taking a walk on the beach, she finds a dead body in a cove. There just always seems to be someone lurking around when she discovers a new issue. Could this person be involved in it all?
The love interest, just so happens to be the person who is lurking around whenever she discovers something new that is wrong. She is consistently telling herself not to get caught up in his troubles and steer clear, but the more she tries, the more intrigued she becomes with what he is hiding. She even tried dating other men on the island, who she met through her friend Liz, and also meets Nick’s cousin Andrew, who she struggled to connect with romantically.
Towards the end of the book, around the time Morgan is due to leave to go back home, she is in the villa, when she hears the maid scream, she followed the scream and in the room, she found Ioana flung over the bed, after overdosing herself on drugs, could this lead or be a link to anything? Read the book and find out.
Conclusion- Though I do have to admit it took me a while to get into the book, when I eventually did, it was very enticing and intriguing. Robert’s writing technique is just incredible, the way in which her words leave you in suspense, is great. She certainly is a beautiful author, with a good imagination and experiences.
