First she meets other fans of the TV show Poldark online. Then she proposes a very special road trip to Cornwall, in search of where their favourite show is being filmed.

But can four strangers find friendship, as well as a certain sexy hunk on their trip south?

My thoughts

For four strangers, I think they connected really well together. It was great that they all shared the same adventure, brought together by the mutual interest in the popular TV series Poldark.

Kirsty was in two mindsets as to whether or not to drive miles and miles away with people she barely knew. This was a great way of thinking for Lisa, although she went through with it anyway. They all ended up safe.

Lisa, Ray and Abby save Kirsty who is a runaway, after being in a foster home, and then save her from her ex boyfriend Charlie.

Although Lisa thought she would be in trouble with the police and social services, she was hailed a hero. After mistaking Kirsty for someone else, and driving miles away, then running away from the crazy, possessed ex, and leading Kirsty to a safe place with her family, Alison and her daughter Cass.

Conclusion

For a quick reads book, I enjoyed it. Not my usual read but I found it interesting. I would recommend it to any Poldark fans and any new readers.

Thank you so much for reading.
